As a family-run company, we look back on a long and successful history. Building and maintaining long-term, trusting relationships with our business partners is of central importance. Integrity and transparency are cornerstones of this success, to which we strive every day. Therefore, it is our goal and our duty to respect and protect human rights within our company.

We consistently link the development of our company, our processes, and all business activities with our responsibility towards people and the environment. In addition to responsible corporate governance we implemented all labor law requirements. Hence, we are compliant with the fundamental rights of the German Constitution and international human rights law. Thus within our company and with our customers and suppliers we are at the heart of our values.

Freedom of speech

We respect privacy and the right to freedom of expression and protect these in accordance with national and international laws. Furthermore, we strictly reject any form of discrimination based on ancestry, nationality, ethnic origin, gender, sexual orientation, religion, marital status, age, disability or family obligations. We also apply these principles to our employees and business partners and expect the same from them.

We prohibit child labour and respect the rights of children in accordance with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and all legal provisions on the participation of people under the age of majority in our daily work. Children and adolescents must not perform any work that could threaten their physical or mental health, safety or morals. To this end, we screen all employees on recruitment to ensure that they have reached the legal minimum age.

Prohibition of human trafficking

We do not tolerate any form of human trafficking, forced labour or slavery in our business environment. We condemn the use of physical and psychological violence as well as the confiscation of personal documents, the withholding of wages and the restriction of freedom of movement. Any form of labour or service must be voluntary, must not be performed under threat of punishment and must be paid at least the legal minimum wage.

Honesty, integrity and respect for applicable law are part of our self-image. We do not tolerate any form of corruption, extortion, bribery or other forms of influence of business decisions. We strictly reject any means of exerting influence by granting or accepting an advantage for the unlawful promotion of business. We only allow benefits such as gifts, invitations and favours within reasonable limits and in a transparent manner.

With this commitment, Wilhelm Quadt GmbH & Co. KG undertakes to respect the human rights as well as labor and social standards described by the United Nations and to protect them with all means at its disposal.
